Hello and welcome to my shop!

My name is Laura and I am a romanian artist, for 12 years I was living and working in Italy where I have learned the Venetian technique of mask making.
I have studied art and fashion in high school and graduated as a fashion designer at the Fine Arts University in my hometown Timisoara, Romania.
I have gained experience in fashion and worked as a designer, but also participated in several art exhibitions, however I will not bore you now with a full curriculum and will leave my work speak for itself.

Not long ago I discovered the tradition and beauty of the Mexican holiday “Día de Muertos “ and fell in love with everything connected with it! After some research I made my first mask, and that ws the beginning of the RUUA story! The materials that I use for making my masks are purchased from Italy and are specially designed for making masks following the Venetian technique of mask making. I do my best to offer the highest quality for my customers and I am constantly learning and discovering new ways of improving my work.
